to observe the common sense rules of courtesy, safety, sportsmanship and
conservation.
2… Each contestant will be
required to wear a chest-type U.S. Coast Guard approved life preserver whenever
the boat is on a plane.
3… Only artificial lures are
permitted. No live or prepared baits are allowed. Pork strips and rinds may be
used.
4… Bass must be caught alive
and in the traditional manner. Fish that appear to have been dead for a very
long time, or that appear to have been frozen (white eyed), or that appear to
have been caged (red-finned or scarred), will not be counted. This is at the
soul desecration of the weigh masters.

maximum of five (5) bass per boat. At no time will contestants have more than
two (2) fish over the limit in their possession. NO CULLING/RELEASING FISH AT

does not swim upright in the tank after 2-3 attempts, the fish will be counted
as dead. The minimum length shall be FOURTEEN INCHES (14”) with mouth closed
and tail moving side to side. Any fish turned in that is under fourteen inches,
that team will then BE **DISQULALIFID. REMEMBER-MEASURE FISH WITH A CLOSED
MOUTH AND PINCHED TAIL. The Golden Rule is the official measure. Any team
bringing more than five (5) fish to the scales will be DISQUALIFIED. Do not
bring any questionable fish to the scales.
6… Trolling will not be
permitted (line out behind the boat while under either electric or gasoline
power). NO DRAGGING!
7… Littering, bad manners or
non-sportsman like conduct will be considered grounds for disqualification.
8… No fishing is permitted
within fifty (50) yards of another contestant’s boat. PLEASE use common
courtesy. The fifty- (50) yard rule is trolling motor up with anchor out.
9… There will be no off limits.
(except during Classic, after day one weigh-in)
10… In case of a tie, the team
with the most fish or largest fish will win, in that order. If still tied,
tournament officials will determine the tiebreaker.
11… All decisions of the
tournament officials will be final and uncontestable.
12… Breaking any rules may be
grounds for disqualification.
13… Any persons caught fighting
or cheating will be ejected from the club.
14… Running lights are required
at the start of the tournament. If running lights are not operational, that
team will start last at safe light.

WILL BE **DISQUALIFIED).
